Industriklivet
Funding for projects reducing industrial greenhouse gas emissions
Industriklivet supports projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions from industrial processes. It focuses on innovative technologies and systems, especially for carbon capture, transport, and storage of fossil-origin carbon dioxide, if no other viable alternatives exist.
Additionally, the program funds projects that achieve negative emissions through the capture, transport, and geological storage of biogenic greenhouse gases or those extracted from the atmosphere. Permanent negative emissions can be realized through the capture and storage of carbon dioxide from the combustion of biofuels.
Strategically important initiatives include the application of new technologies or innovative solutions that significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions across society. These may involve new technologies, innovative solutions, or systems and value chains within the industry.
